Summary:
Pelican approached Shyft Global with the goal of designing a collection of bags that combined the versatility of soft-sided bags with the protection of their classic hard cases. These bags were intended for Pelican’s core demographic of outdoor enthusiasts, photographers, and travelers with valuable equipment to protect.

The result was the AEGIS™ collection, a line of rugged yet streamlined bags that fit comfortably between a hard case and a soft case. We developed PelicanShield™, a protective EVA-molded material that integrates Pelican-standard protection without the weight and bulk of a hard case. The collection features MOLLE systems for modularity with other equipment, along with Cordura fabric for durability.

These bags fulfill Pelican’s vision to “Protect All That You Value” in a uniquely versatile and accessible way.
